A side-scrolling brawler with a DMC feel? I guessdamienjameswebb | March 27, 2014 | See all damienjameswebb's reviews »
This is a 2d adventure style brawler. the graphics feels very flat, and i know that is what they might be going for but it feels like this should be a browser based flash game. although, this game still looks pretty and runs like a dream on any system.
The best part is probably the co-op mode though and as with most brawlers, really helps to get you through the game without dying a billion times. game can feel short, but re-playing it with a friend can add to it, but not by much. The game really lacks in regards to the feeling of value. The controls are tight and are nice and button-mashy (just how i like my brawling games). however, some street fighter style combos would be cool and even the chance to use bigger and better weapons would be nice, but everything just feels very mundane in that category.
over all, not bad, but still needs a lot to make me convert from something like castle crashers.
