Secret of the Scarlet Hand is another episode of HER's Nancy Drew series and sadly it's definitely not their best. Not that the game is bad per se, gameplay-wise it's really a straightforward adventure game with challenging yet logical puzzles. The places you get to visit are a bit derivative and a bit too closed. Sadly the story (which in my opinion is the most important part in an adventure game) starts out really slowly and it only picks up towards the end which is a shame. For fans of the series I'd still recommend this game, for newcomers this is not the best place to start.
