Running fun.Furrek | Feb. 2, 2016 | See all Furrek's reviews »
It's really simply - you just run, as fast as you can (and sometimes as slow as you can), collect batteries and reach ends of level. It's not just running: there are level when you are flying and spend most of your time jumping from place to place. Start easy but later you will find some really annoying levels: like there is one with over9000 platforms forming stairs, or place where you will really calculate your jump because if you won't, you will simply fall. How fast is this game? Really fast. Like, imagine you are running the fastest you can BUT there is more. You can use something like turbo, which will make you run even faster - for a short time but nothing stops you from spamming up arrow. There are only two things I can have some complains - desing looks rather dull, even with thing that changes color of surroundings but that's just my opinion, maybe someone fill find it more fitting for a game like T.E.C. 3001. Another thing is issue with achievements - they are unlocked only once, when you will close your game. It's really minor, so if you don't really care about time which you unlocked each achievement, then there is no problem. It's fun game, as long as you like to simply run. If you get bored with playing levels, you can always try local multiplayer (friends needed, but there is nothing that can stop you from trying to play as both players alone) or marathon, which is most fun part of game. T.E.C. 3001 is cheap game, so you will pay not so much at sales, and I think it's worth this price.

Played it some time ago and decided to do a review. I already spent 3 / 4 hours on the game, and I have to say it's actually very good for the price. The gameplay is awesome and addictive, you have different types of levels you can finish in different ways, and the sensation of running at such high speed is great. It also has co-op mode, so you can play with a friend to have even more fun. The game is worth the cheap price, give it a try, you will like.

This is one of the best running games you are ever likely to find. Just imagine, Subway Surfers or Temple Run, now put it on steroids. That’s T.E.C 3001. There is no story. The graphics, while nothing special, are perfect, and the environment of a Virtual Reality is created. You can change the color theme by running through RGB Gates, which is awesome. The sounds are also good, the pumping your wires and cords as you jump another hurdle, it's great. My only negative comment is that it's not T.E.C 9001, so that it could be over 9000. So stop those simple games and play this now. 9.9/10

Ok, so T.E.C 3001. What's this game about? To what genre does it belong? I'm not so sure. I guess those run and jump games you usually found in android? Or, like that one game, Pepsi-man, back in the PSX? I'd guess so. It's not important. Let's just jump in the game itself. T.E.C 3001 is a game about running. You play your futuristic looking robot through futuristic looking stages and jump, dodge and slide through a lot of obstacles. With a few tutorial levels that explains how it works nicely, the game doesn't get unnecessary difficult. There are over 40 levels, some of them pretty long, and they're all really fun. The music of the game is nice, the graphics aren't amazing but they work perfectly, but what really makes this game such a nice game, it's the fun. There are 3 types of levels. One in which you run in a straight line, trying to not miss a button when you run over a platform in the floor, one that it's pretty similar to Temple Run and these kind of games, with three "rails" in which you can move, and then there's the real deal. The juice of the game, the real fun comes in in the kind of levels where you can run freely. It's just so fun to run without any restriction, jump from one platform to another, take different paths, sometimes going way too fast and doing some impossible jump and dying because there was just no way. And it keeps being fun, even if you lose a thousand times in one level because you're just messing around. The game is highly addictive. Also, it has a splitscreen multiplayer mode, an endless mode, it's pretty long, so what are you waiting for? Just buy it. This game is cheap, and I assure you you'll have fun.
Expectations ExceededF4T4LV0iD | Aug. 8, 2014 | See all F4T4LV0iD's reviews »
This was a game I decided to give a try randomly in my library because the screenshots and concept had me intrigued. It's hard to put my finger on it as to why, but this game got me hooked quick and hard. There were some jumps I just could not make, but I still kept coming back for more and was determined to try and get further. I had somewhat low expectations for the game going in, but those expectations were soon exceeded. As I write this review it's on sale for $0.99, which is a total steal and I guarantee you will get your money's worth. Even at $3.99 I still got my money's worth. I don't even know what is best to describe or compare this game to... possibly a 3rd person perspective Bit.Trip Runner? Anyways it totally works and thoroughly enjoyed it.
