Our story takes place in the early 80s in a small town names Hedge Hill near Kansas City, Missouri. The sowing of a new genetically modified type of corn caused the existence of a new virus which mutated through the natural food chain. A dog bite of an infected animal caused a local outbreak of the virus which rapidly infected the inhabitants of the idyl- lic provincial town. Mike and Gerald, two college boys, are thrown into the middle of a terrifying horror scenario. Having pulled over to a gas station near Hedge Hill during what was meant to be an enjoyable road trip, they are unaware of the virus which has already reached the gas station and its staff...

I feel I'm the only one that likes this...beltmatt_usa | Nov. 23, 2013 | See all beltmatt_usa's reviews »
I bought this game with very low expectations. I knew it was't the most beautiful and I was expecting some slow spots but for some reason I enjoyed it.
This game features an unoriginal story and it just a point and click with little thought. It isn't very difficult and you can play it with little to no thinking. Game play example: OH look a Zombie, click to run up and kill it (assuming you clicked to equip a weapon). You need to go to the truck? Click to go to it. It's very simple.
If you want a game you can play for a few minutes or an hour and turn it off without worrying about missing something, this is the game for you!
Great idea, not so great delivery.Matt_hXc | May 20, 2013 | See all Matt_hXc's reviews »
Now i would rate zombie themed games as one of my favorite type of games and would definitely rate left 4 dead and the walking dead adventure games as the pinnacle of that.
This game is an interesting idea though as it is a top down strategy game where you command a team of survivors trying to survive the zombie apocalypse.
I like this game because it's a realistic sort of game where you can't go around like an action hero taking out zombie after zombie you have to be strategic trying to kill them on their own without alerting others, if you get injured you have to try patch yourself up as quick as you can as blood attracts them. It's little thoughts like that that make me like this game.
Unfortunately it falls flat on other fronts such as story, character development and graphics although the graphics part could be because they're not a well known studio so don't have the budget of big hitting competitors and they do their job.
Overall i do like this game and enjoy the strategy you have to utilize to get through the levels it's a refreshing change to all the run and gun zombie games around. For the price it is at the minute it's well worth a look if you're into this genre and fancy something different.

As a gamer-hipster I must say I loved Trapped Dead. I found the idea of making a zombie game where strategy has more value than action, quite brilliant. Also, I found satisfatory the gameplay system; just guess it should have a bit more of velocity. Anyway, for an "underground game", it's still worth it, imo. I do not reccomend this one for any gamer, though. It's a different approach of a highly explored thematic. So if you wanna try, the risk is all yours!

Miss this game out. Really do. Terrible visuals, shoddy controls and gameplay, and no replay-ability - do not buy this for the hefty £18.71. That is of course, you love zombie games and feel the need to buy all of them out there. Either way, I do not advise you to waste your money and memory for such a bad game.

A good game that actually keeps you entertained, although it could have been made with improvements. The multiplayer is not all that fun from single player as you would have thought and expected... and I think it's what is lacking the most. The graphics are also nice and still enjoyable. It's stable, fun and good for those that enjoy on-top view. A very recommended game that is worth the current price.
