A lot of people are turned off by the real-time training of skills in this game but I find it rather ingenious. EVE makes you really work at what you have and when you finally get that skill you've wanted to Level 5 you feel good about it. The economy is purely player driven and just about everything can be crafted by the player. Alliances form and take over solar system after solar system until they have a wealth of systems at their disposal. The universe in this game is vast and it grows all the time. What do you like in a game? Do you just like to kill enemy NPC's, salvage their remains and turn a profit off what you gathered? Do you like to mine for hours on end and sell the fruits of your labor? Or would you rather join an Alliance and take part in epic battles that encompass entire systems where you have the chance to lose everything you've built for yourself? This game has consequences that most don't and I think that puts it a step above everyone else.

EVE Online is probably the best MMORPG out there for players who don't like to have their hands held. Be prepared to get blown up a lot, but learn from it until you're the one blowing people up. There are an incredible amount of options to pick from, from a whole load of different ships, to enough activities that you'll take years to run out of new things to do.

Eve online is basically a MMORPG that is driven by its community, it gives a very notable difference versus the classic MMOs. Stock markets are a reality and are influenced by players as they buy and sell, like in the real stock market. Missions are generated by players, and actually, you can conquer anything in this game. It has led to massive PvP battles, as you may know, it's also a game where you can lose a lot of money as well as winning. A starter pack is heavily recommended if you get new on this game since it's going for 10 years now.
