While Seekers of Adoulin is only an expansion to Final Fantasy XI, it is a very good one. Not only it streamlines some aspects of gameplay and makes the game more user-friendly, but it also adds a lot of new content - including new jobs, new areas for players to explore and new rewards which encourage players to keep playing. The game's theme is colonization of the continent of Ulbuka, and the story leaves some open ends to be followed up in possible next expansions. The expansion is good but not perfect - some concepts and elements seem unpolished or rushed, music could be better, etc. But yet it's still a must-have addition to every Final Fantasy XI fan's collection.
