The story of Maya, an Egyptian sorceress, is told with nice graphics, well done cutscenes and moody music. All these elements add up, and together with pretty solid storyline, they build a coherent picture of ancient Egypt. Egypt is a pretty unpopular adventure game, and I think it's a pity, because for a fan of adventure games it's a good choice. Others might prefer to spend their time and money on other games, but for an adventure gamer the game is a solid choice. It is slightly worse than its sequel, which managed to improve a few things (possibly thanks to increased budget) but the whole series can be fun and definitely a likeable trip to ancient Egypt.
