I'm normally a run-n-gun blow 'em up kind of gamer, but I do love the occasional puzzle game as well. They help you keep your hand to eye coordination and observational skills sharp. The Jewel Quest series is no different. In fact, when this came out, I bought it for my mother and myself and we both enjoy playing it a lot! The best part of it is that there is actually a story to it as well as the puzzles! Challenge your mind, go on a Quest!
Good Jewel Swapping Gamelachking | Nov. 2, 2012 | See all lachking's reviews »
Jewel Quest 2 is an improvement over the previous game. The jewel swapping mini-game from the last game is the full feature in this game. The levels are interesting and varied and come in different shapes and sizes. As you progress, you will also encounter different gems, such as buried gems that cannot be moved. There are also a good variety of backgrounds which add to the atmospheric appeal, such as a ship deck and African Safari. The graphics engine is quite good with cool looking effects when you create lines of gems. The audio effects are also quite good, with nice ambient effects and catchy music.

One of the best match-3 games ever! This is a huge improvement over the first game. Basically, you combine gems again and again until you solve everything. But there is a lot more to it. The game looks fantastic and the music is sweet. Unlike the first game where it was dull. This game does not get dull. It gets HARDER! But hard to the point where you don't rage quit! You'll want to keep playing because it never really punishes you for losing. Lots of great fun.
Very similar to Bejeweleddrakaenae | July 2, 2011 | See all drakaenae's reviews »
This game is a lot like the popcap game Bejeweled but instead, you have to match tiles until the entire game-board turns to gold (the spaces where a match occurs turns gold). Just like Bejeweled there is a timer, but in Jewel Quest II, the game board also changes into more complicated shapes to increase the difficulty of the game. Overall, its a pretty addicting games. I would definitely recommend this game if you like casual games.

This game is very addictive! it will make you cannot stop playing. every time a combined gem is found you will want to find another gem immediately, and it will keep on like that until all puzzle solved. This game has a fun graphic, good sounds, and great gameplay. This game also good to train your eyes coordination. Simply great!
