Jewel Quest Solitaire 2 is a solid improvement over the previous game. The graphics are more appealing and this version of solitaire is more engaging than the Tripeaks version used in the previous game. The music is also quite good, a step up from the ambient sounds in the previous game although some of the sound effects are recycled. Some more interesting elements are added to the mix such as a sign of 2 cards appearing on the side telling you that if you match the 2 particular cards you will get a bonus. Overall, a solid improvement over the previous game. The graphics are better and the game mechanics have been improved to create a more vibrant experience.
It is just a solitaire? Absolutely not.apollo3d | May 25, 2011 | See all apollo3d's reviews »
Why we don’t play to the Windows solitaire? Because isn’t enough.
Basically we must help Emma to find her missing husband in Africa, by playing solitaire, but not only. In fact, the fantastic story as background, the different levels, the use of the powerups, makes this games absolutely irrestistible. Will be very hard to break away from the game.
The graphics and the animation are also really good, and help us to immerse ourselves completely in the game.
