Nice, cute Game

I picked up Sugar Cube: Bittersweet Factory as a part of a indie bundle and was interested in its style from seeing it on steam. Well its a simple single screen puzzle platformer with a unique twist, when you move the tiles you pass flip to reveal things like platforms, switches or even spikes. The game is fairly simple, but enjoyable non the less. It was completed with the good ending in less than 100 minutes. The graphics are ok, pretty simple. Although i had a pretty crucial bug in which i got a blank screen instead of cut-scences while in full screen, which meant i missed the ending and had to replay the final boss... lol Regarding the sound, the music is pretty annoying and i recommend turning down the music in the options.

To round up, SC:BF is enjoyable but short.

Decent platformer

Sugar Cube is a decent platformer at best. Its controls are tight but the art design and sound effects are severly lacking. Animation is poor and everything sounds cheap. It reminded me a bit of one of those free games you get preinstalled when you buy a premade computer. Not the best impression to give off.

Still, if you can get it very cheap (or free) then I suggest it.

Cute platforms

Low price, great controls, melodic songs and colorful graphics, all you need to have a fun session with this game, It reminds me Kirby's games, easy to play and fun as hell, the game has a ton of levels and some of them are very hard to master.

For this price is a great gift for you, if you like 2D platformers you will enjoy it a lot.

Funny and nice

Finally a good old-style platform! This game is so nice and full of colors that it's a pleasure to play. The game is not difficult at all with the exception of some later levels (so is not a Super Meat Boy clone) and can be played from all ages people. It's very long and it require me about 8 hours to fully complete it.Plus, there are two endings. If you are searching a good platform and youìve already finished Cave Story +, try this: for four euro, it is worth it even without a discount!
