Return to the Days Of Thunder

The golden age of motor sports has returned. Experience one of the world’s most exciting racing series in GT LEGENDS, including the legendary touring cars of the 60′s and 70′s. Collect more then 90 original FIA GTC-TC team vehicles and demonstrate your driving skill on real European racetracks.

GT Legends was announced summer 2005 and presented to media with a response that was overwhelming. The only concern expressed by the media present at the time was that they were previously blown away by GTR, and now they wanted to rate GT Legends even higher!

GT Legends keeps the authentic driving experience from GTR and takes the game play to a new level with a career mode. Enjoy the historic GT cars with vehicles like Ford Mustang, Shelby Cobra, Corvette, Jaguar, Lotus, TVR and other goodies from the 60’s and 70’s.

Key Features:

  • Original Tracks: Over 25 variations of real tracks like Imola, Monza, Donington and Mondello Park

  • 5 Difficulty Levels: Ranging from the easy beginner mode to the ultra realistic simulation mode

  • Career Mode: Win numerous cups and buy your dream car in this challenging mode

  • Pure Realism: Experience an unequalled level of realism in cooperation with the FIA GTC-TC teams, incl. pit stops and car setups

  • Real Sounds: Completely authentic sounds recorded from the actual FIA racing cars

  • Multiplayer Mode: Impress your friends with rare unlockable cars and challenge up to 15 opponents online

Surprisingly good

GT Legends has an almost Gran Turismo-like array of classic cars that i feel is what drew many people to this game. Beyond that though, is a really good racing game It controls nicely and is a comfortable mix of arcade and simulation that feels almost natural. It also looks amazing considering it's almost ten years old. Definitely still worth the purchase.

A great, authentic vintage racing sim

This game is alot of fun because of how realistic it is. I get alot of thrill racing down a strait with 20 other vintage cars all around me. The cars all handle as you would expect them to and everything seems correct and in-place. This game is a sim, so the handling and traction of the cars is very realistic. That makes this game impossible to play using a keyboard and very difficult, but doable, using a gamepad. This is a game made for pedals and a wheel. But that is the best way to enjoy it anyway. That really brings it to life. That said, the graphics are wonderful even by today's standards and this game will not disappoint any car nut.

Rather average

The graphics are not spectacular, as this game is fairly old. The menus are not very easy to navigate through and in order to get new content, you must complete ludicrously easy races, which seem to go on forever, and the AI loses the race by over a minute. Also, the AI is not very intelligent, as it seems to love to get in your way, just like a touring car driver really. A good thing about the game is the ease of which it can be modded, from many different free websites. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend it, especially if you are running W7

Best racing game out there.

This, I swear, is the best racing game of all time, all categories. For me it is not only the best racing game, but also one of my top of the line favorite games of all time. Why is it so damn good? I don't know, but it must have something to do with the atmospheric feeling, the incredible collection of cars, the wonderful sound effects and the authentic feeling of the cars which all together creates the, in my opinion, most immersive gaming experience ever. Despite its age (or rather thanks too), this game is a true legend. *Cheesy review over.*

Good Game!

Lots of my friends told me about that game, because I am a great fan of old cars. When I had birthday they gifted me that game on Steam. It has a lots of old cars! The graphic was good at all, It is an older game, but still enjoyable! The controls are difficult to change because there is always "Key is reserved" when I want to change and then I have to search for the Key where it is. I lake the racing circuits and the A.I isn't bad at all because they are hard to defeat. There's also a car dealer where you can spend the money you win in the cups for new cars or new car skins! I'd like to give that game 8,5 of 10 points! For fans of Oldtimer games, it is a MUST HAVE!
