No controller support, lazy port.psychicparrot | Dec. 23, 2013 | See all psychicparrot's reviews »
It says TAP TO CONTINUE on menus. There's no controller support. Yes, they changed the target platform in Unity and hit publish. They made no attempt to make this work well on the PC. Complete waste of what would be a totally awesome game. Of course, if you like playing racing games on the keyboard (which I haven't since the 90s) then maybe you will be ok with it. I'm not. And I'm down-rating it because of the lack of effort on their part in converting this to PC.

Monster Truck Destruction looks like a PC port of a mobile application. And well, it is not a wrong feeling because that's what it is. While there are many good car driving and racing games on PCs, it may always be good to be able to play the same game on your computer and on your mobile device. This game gives you an opportunity to do it. The number of options and vehicles available is good enough to make this game a passable rival for most PC racers. The gameplay itself may not be anything exceptional, but is enjoyable for sure. Just jump over a ramp or two with your monster truck, especially if you manage to drop onto another vehicle and tell me if you are still sceptical about the game. I am not.
