I play the mechromancer and let me tell ya I have changed her look often. This game takes a while to play through if you look for all the quests and especially if you have all the DLC like I do! For me, in co-op at least I like to keep them guessing what I will look like next! For 99 cents you really can't go wrong. If you only want one skin set just pick your fav character or you can get them all still very inexpensive. Borderlands is one of my favorite games to play so I just got them all right away. If I am going to invest that much of my time in a game I might as well have fun with it and you should too! With that said go get your skin now...just follow claptrap to the checkout!

In this pack, Gaige gets another unique head and skin customization. Keep in mind, you actually have to own Gaige, to make purchasing skins for her a reasonable thing to do. Don't purchase the pack if you don't have the character, okay? With that out of the way, I must say I rather like this one. The picture doesn't do it justice, but trust me: there's a lightbulb on the top of her helmet. Gaige has a number of amazing skins, this one being on the top of the list for me. If you're a fan of the Mechromancer, I'd stay this one is a pretty good purchase.

The Steampunk Slayer pack gives you a nice new costume for the Mechromancer Gaige, giving her a nice gear designed costume (somewhat reminiscent of Zero's Clockwork costume DLC). While it's not personally my favorite look, I appreciate the detail put into this one, and it definitely fits her class well. If you like the design as well, I say pick it up. If you already went ahead and purchased Gaige for your game, why not spend a little extra to make her look nice too?

The mechromancer gives off a very steampunk-y feel, even without this reskin. When she's wearing googles and gears and all the other staples of steampunk, she really reaches her true steampunk-y potential

Even though I am not a fan of re-skinning DLCs, I really liked this one. First, I liked the mechromancer character a lot, and second, I always felt that steampunk suits the Borderlands setting just perfectly. The pack includes a costume and a new head for the mechromancer. Bear in mind that mechromancer is not a part of the base game and requires an expansion, and although you don't really need it to play, you might consider it because for a surprisingly low price you're getting a really nice skin (one of my favourites) for a great character. Especially multiplayer gamers will appreciate another option of customizing their character, but if you are a fan of Borderlands, wouldn't you like to have the complete collection of expansions? So why don't you get all the goggles, lightbulbs, gears and stuff for your mechromancer?
