Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation. Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as "the Warrior." Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game – most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.
All-New Characters and Classes:
Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
Play Online with Friends:
Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN through a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game.
World Connected Story:
Left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora, begin your quest of revenge and redemption as the story drives you closer to the Hyperion Corporation and its evil founder, Handsome Jack.
New Badass Gun System:
Millions upon millions of possible weapons means tons of new and innovative ways to engage foes on Pandora. Fire, electricity, corrosive acid, and more will all be at your disposal.
In addition to the new gun system, you will lust after procedurally generated shields, grenades, Relics, class mods and much, much more. And you thought the original Borderlands had a ton of loot!
Brand new environments:
From the arctic tundra, through the dangerous grasslands, past the mysterious corrosive caverns to beyond, discover more of the unpredictable world of Pandora at every turn!
Brand new enemies:
Hulking, gorilla-like Bullymongs, vicious predatory Stalkers and the Hyperion mechanical army, run by Handsome Jack, are just some of the new enemies you will face.

I thought this game would be like the original Borderlands but it's much better. It took me around 100 hours to complete everything in the game, not including DLC which is another thing great about Borderlands 2. It's the most fun game I ever played in years. This is like the perfect game in my opinion, it has amazing graphics, amazing story, physX effects, and it's humorous. If you like FPS you can play this game for hours without getting bored.

Look at all these guns. Oooooo, these guns, my friend, are the very essence that makes Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2. To start, Borderlands 2 is first-person shooter unlike any other. It has some very entertaining scenes and the overall game is hilarious.
For the presentation, the graphic style makes it looks like its straight off a graphic novel, which for me, is pretty damn awesome. It's quite brutal, but nothing to "out of the barrel" kind of style. The music is very entertaining, which you can easily rock out too. This game has some of my favourite music in it.
Now to talk about the gameplay, Borderlands 2 is freaking awesome game. It runs quite smoothly, with controls that are easy to handle. Playing with three other friends really adds to the experience, as you can just mess around and have fun doing it. With many iconic characters, such as the Psychos and the Claptraps, you are certainly missing out! So grab a few friends, clear your schedule and get ready to lose some sleep.

This game is amazing. Quite Nearly perfect. The first borderlands was amazing, and having a game this good as the sequel, is more than I could wish for. The graphics, being hand drawn, look amazing and visually pleasing, and in all my hours of game play, I have not encountered one graphical glitch. The FPS mechanics are great, having dynamic enemies with critical hit spots, and skilled shooting, being able to shoot of limbs, trip them up, and much more. So much replay ability. All the classes are distinctly different, and the game will be different on a different class. Buy this game.

I thought the first Borderlands was pretty good, but Borderlands 2 is just amazing. They took the first game and just made it better. They story is highly entertaining and very funny. Voice acting is great. The graphics are amazing on the PC especially if you have a PC that can max it out. Borderlands also has a great art style that I think makes it unique.
Gameplay offers more than your standard FPS there are RPG elements you can select between a few characters who all have their own special abilities. You get skill points that you choose how to distribute so there are different ways you can play characters. There is multiple reason to play through the main game multiple times getting better loot and tougher enemies. This game is truly almost flawless the only complaint is the low drop rate for legendary items (the rarest in base game), but you can understand getting the best weapons easily would just make the game far to easy. This is a must play for FPS fans it has everything one could want literally thousands (maybe more) of guns, great story, amazing graphics, and a unique art style. I have hundred of hours played personally and it still doesn't fell old, and it hasn't gotten boring.
Plus Gearbox still patches this game fixing bugs even though it was release in 2012. They also try to listen to fans on the forums (to an extent) on things to patch or change. They still have event where you can earn weapons and skins, and just released a mobile app that lets you scan bar codes to get even more loot in game. It is obvious that the developer truly loves this game based on their continued support.
This game should be in every gamer's library it is the definition of a must have. Guaranteed hours of gameplay.

I personally loved the first Borderlands and played it for many hours both with friends and alone, but this one is so much better.
Right now this is my favorite game on Steam and I must say that playing it with friends makes is even greater than playing alone. This game is in my honest opinion the only good casual shooter out there, it's also the only one where I don't get angry when I get killed. And looting makes everything worth it.
Borderlands 2, despite being over a year old, is still one of the greatest gaming experiences on the market.
