"The one thing worth pointing out between the various platforms is how cool Borderlands 2 can look if you have an awesome PC. The PC version allows plenty of tweaks to draw distance, frame rate and more." - IGN.com
"Borderlands 2 doesn't reach far beyond its predecessor's scope, but it does do almost everything better. Additions, refinements, and fixes all combine to create an appreciably improved experience, one that fully delivers on the promise of the first game." - Gamespot.com

A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.
Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation. Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as "the Warrior." Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game – most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.
All-New Characters and Classes:
Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
Play Online with Friends:
Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN through a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game.
World Connected Story:
Left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora, begin your quest of revenge and redemption as the story drives you closer to the Hyperion Corporation and its evil founder, Handsome Jack.
New Badass Gun System:
Millions upon millions of possible weapons means tons of new and innovative ways to engage foes on Pandora. Fire, electricity, corrosive acid, and more will all be at your disposal.
In addition to the new gun system, you will lust after procedurally generated shields, grenades, Relics, class mods and much, much more. And you thought the original Borderlands had a ton of loot!
Brand new environments:
From the arctic tundra, through the dangerous grasslands, past the mysterious corrosive caverns to beyond, discover more of the unpredictable world of Pandora at every turn!
Brand new enemies:
Hulking, gorilla-like Bullymongs, vicious predatory Stalkers and the Hyperion mechanical army, run by Handsome Jack, are just some of the new enemies you will face.

This game, in a lot of ways, is not your typical FPS. From crazy guns to a beautiful sell shaded look, Borderlands 2 will have something for any fan of the FPS genre. In many ways it is similar to the original, so fans of the first will love the 2nd. The new Gunzerker class is a ton of fun, and the characters in this game are sometimes very funny as well as very memorable. From the games antagonist Handsome Jack, who is always good for an awkward yet funy comment throughout your adventure, to the playable characters from the original back to Pandora, only this time with speaking roles. The only downside to this game it can start to become repetitive after awhile, but this is far less noticeable while playing with friends. Certainly give this one a try, but I recommend bringing some friends along for the ride.

Do you like Borderlands? Do you like to see more of Pandora, with more areas to explore, more enemies to pop, and more guns (important) to collect? This game is here to deliver! The only downside I'm going to say about the game is story. But wait, who needs an epic story when you can tell the whole Pandora that you (and your friends) are the most badass badasses on the whole planet? Just shove a whole magazine of bullet down those baddies' throat! Now that downside is done, upsides. Pretty much everything. More beautiful scenery, more characters to interact (funny ones, also important,) more baddies to kill, and way way way more guns and funs with your friend! With 6 unique classes (2 being DLC characters) for the game opens up almost endless possibilities for you to design your character and experiment different ways to punish whoever is silly enough to stand in your way. Multiplayer component has also been improved, it is now easier to see your friend's progress to make sure everybody is on the same page. All in all, great FPS-RPG-Action game. If you like all three of those genres, get it.

I was never into the BL series of games but I got hooked fast! The story line itself is hilarious, all characters will drop funny lines here and there (most from the bad guys). Obviously the game will be more fun with friends and a full team of 4, but that's not to say that you can't fully enjoy the game solo either. The campaign has huge replay value, unlocking a new difficulty level each time you finish the game (up to 2 more difficulties) which is more than enough to keep you entertained. And if you're an achievement hunter and or grinder, this game will satisfy all of that for you (I myself haven't even levelled up max or got all achievements, and I played through the game 3 times! (Although, I DID get the level upgrade DLC so my max level is 72 -- SO HARD TO GET TO, but will be so rewarding). And if that's not enough, BL2 has tons of DLC to add-on if you're just tired of the regular story or want new characters.

Now this is coming from a player who has put over 300 hours into this game so i can safely say that this game is awesome! With new weapon types, new heroes too play as, a story(the 1st one lacked one) and new features this game improves from the original in every way. I HIGHLY suggest if you haven't played and or bought this yet do yourself a favor and buy the game of the year edition it includes tons of content and imo this games dlc is dlc done right and is worth your time and money. Also this game is ment too be played with friends if you want the best experience possible. Seriously play this game.

If you even slightly enjoyed Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 kicks it up about 20 notches. Lots of improvements like a mini map on your hud, new classes, and infinite awesome new weapons. The more colorful pallet used makes Borderlands prettier then ever. If you have any doubts, drop them off at the kiddy pool and dive into the deep end.
