"The one thing worth pointing out between the various platforms is how cool Borderlands 2 can look if you have an awesome PC. The PC version allows plenty of tweaks to draw distance, frame rate and more." - IGN.com
"Borderlands 2 doesn't reach far beyond its predecessor's scope, but it does do almost everything better. Additions, refinements, and fixes all combine to create an appreciably improved experience, one that fully delivers on the promise of the first game." - Gamespot.com
A new era of shoot and loot is about to begin. Play as one of four new vault hunters facing off against a massive new world of creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind, Handsome Jack. Make new friends, arm them with a bazillion weapons and fight alongside them in 4 player co-op on a relentless quest for revenge and redemption across the undiscovered and unpredictable living planet.
Borderlands 2 follows the story of four new Vault Hunters as they fight to free Pandora from the clutches of Handsome Jack, the brilliant, charismatic, and utterly despicable CEO of the Hyperion Corporation. Players will fight across the whole of Pandora to stop Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known only as "the Warrior." Their quest will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the old game – most notably, the original four Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick and Mordecai. They, along with some brand new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.
All-New Characters and Classes:
Four all new playable classes including the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker and the Assassin. Step into the role of the Gunzerker, whose highly deadly skills allow him to dual-wield any two weapons found in the game. Not only that, you will build on that skill to do more things with two guns than you ever imagined possible. Dual machine guns? Cool. Dual rocket launchers? Of course! Dual Sniper Rifles? Sure, if that’s your thing! Want to try other styles? More tactical perhaps? There are multiple classes to choose from!
Play Online with Friends:
Share your adventures with friends both online and via LAN through a seamless system enabling you to drop in and drop out of a campaign without ever having to restart the game.
World Connected Story:
Left for dead in the frozen tundra of Pandora, begin your quest of revenge and redemption as the story drives you closer to the Hyperion Corporation and its evil founder, Handsome Jack.
New Badass Gun System:
Millions upon millions of possible weapons means tons of new and innovative ways to engage foes on Pandora. Fire, electricity, corrosive acid, and more will all be at your disposal.
In addition to the new gun system, you will lust after procedurally generated shields, grenades, Relics, class mods and much, much more. And you thought the original Borderlands had a ton of loot!
Brand new environments:
From the arctic tundra, through the dangerous grasslands, past the mysterious corrosive caverns to beyond, discover more of the unpredictable world of Pandora at every turn!
Brand new enemies:
Hulking, gorilla-like Bullymongs, vicious predatory Stalkers and the Hyperion mechanical army, run by Handsome Jack, are just some of the new enemies you will face.

with a very large arsenal this games weapon count is huge no two weapons are the same with all of the different modifications. the voice acting is stellar it fuses serious moments with comical whimsy thatll be sure to make you smile the characters from the first installment are still here with some new ones added in to make the game even funnier. the gameplay is solid and smooth easily switching between different weapons and your action skill to maximize your overall damage output for a very well balanced gaming experience and with tons of dlc and different difficulties/playable characters the game has a lot of replay value

This game hits all the marks. It is hard without needing to grind as long as other games... The comedy is a great motivator to move on in the story. There are thousands of hidden jokes/jems hidden throughout the story. My favorite has to be the "Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep"... The Developers spend lots of time making their game comical and entertaining with actual combat.
Everything is as balanced as can be. Lots of ability to customize or delve deep-ish into the story, or skip it an just kill stuff. Very Entertaining Overall...

Borderlands 2 is great.
-Great art style -Great soundtrack -Great humour -Great story -Great Great Grandfather
Borderlands 2 has a well done balance of FPS and RPG. One can choose from several new characters compared to Borderlands 1 with all new abilities and strengths. Same art style, new story to progress through. Cl4p-Tr4p is one of my favourite characters of all times.

Borderlands 2 is the sequel to one of my favorite games Borderlands. In this game, you get 4 new players to advance through the story with. Axton is the new soldier who can deploy a turret but can also upgrade it with crazy abilities. Salvador is the gunzerker who can dual wield any 2 guns and wreck everything. Zero is the assassin that can go invisible and strike with his sword. Lastly, Maya is the new siren that can take an enemy and launch them in the air changing the focus of the fight. Your mission is to beat Handsome Jack, my favorite villain ever, to the vault and prevent him from unleashing The Warrior. There is tons to do, lots to laugh at, and an infinite amount of things to loot. I can't recommend this more.

This is by far one of my favorite FPS games that I've played, mainly due to the amount of humor, the art style, and the fact that it also incorporates an RPG aspect of leveling and quests into the mix. There are a few things that could be fixed, such as losing guns if you drop them near a corner, and sometimes buggy quests, but otherwise it's a quite enjoyable game.
