If you like Fallout 3, the Pitt is definitely a good buy. You now get to travel to Pittsburgh and get to explore a whole new area. With new monsters and deadly people awaiting you, how much better could this be? You also get to use so many new cool weaponry. My personal favorite weapon is basically a rotary blade that spins and cut through any enemy that stands in your way. The Pitt adds many more hours to you Fallout 3 experience, and if you're a fan of the game, this DLC is worth every penny. With new areas to explore, new enemies to fight, and epic weaponry to use, this DLC is a great deal for the game..

Some people complained about how short Fallout 3 is, and they were right - such a great game may easily feel too short. Fortunately the authors provided us with a great collection of expansions, and Fallout 3: The Pitt is one of them. This DLC pack takes us to post-nuclear version of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The city is a dangerous place now, full of industrial ruins and complexes, filled with suspicious characters and full of enemies. The Pitt pack expands the game's storyline and adds new quests to pursue. To counterbalance all the odds we'll be against, we are offered a choice of new weapons, including the memorable AutoAxe. See it and you will know why it's so memorable!

The Pitt takes place in Pittsburgh while the main game is taking place in Washington.
Gameplay in the Pitt is pretty much the same as it was in the main release of Fallout 3. Not much is different (which is not a bad thing because it is just an expansion). There are some cool new weapons and a very short new quest line that has been added.
The quest line in this expansion took maybe a few hours. There are still some decisions to make, but it feels like there is much less weight in each decision made. There is a bit of a twist that makes the "good guys" seem less good and the "bad guys" seem less bad that I thought was absolutely brilliant. The side quests are okay and might add another hour or two to the game but it is again quite short. However, for the price, the expansion will add a little bit more gameplay to the Fallout 3 experience and is worth the few dollars you will pay for it.
It survived!drafek | Aug. 19, 2013 | See all drafek's reviews »
When the nukes went off the Pitt survived, well some of it. Some raiders took it over. There are alot of slaves, which makes a unique darkish atmosphere. The main story-line is around 3-4 hours long, and the sidequest and/or exploring is around 1-3 hours long. This DLC had alot of bugs when it came out, crashes etc. but those are fixed now. The armor and weapons in this expansion are done really well.
