Description
This product requires the original Magicka game to run
Left for dead, your party is faced with the terrible hordes of the undead and some of their friends. This challenge contains a large area for the players to move around and plenty of room for the hordes to really spread out and surround you. If you like splashing around in murky waters trying to dismember zombies, this is the challenge for you.

This is like a swarm or horde mode with progressively harder waves of enemies approaching you from all around. Some good fun to be had with friends, and will keep you engaged for a while! Certainly worth the low price considering the great value you are receiving in this great Magicka DLC.

One of the better DLC maps

This map, in my opinion, is one of the better maps, I don't know if it's worth 2$, but it's a much better map than the others. Since it's not versus, but challenge, not only that, if your friends don't play it, you don't need friends to play it, and if you do, it's much more fun than killing each other with spamming fireballs etcetera. If you have a passion for Magicka DLCs, or just want to buy a DLC and don't know which one to buy, this one is not a bad investment.

Left 4 Magicka

Arrowhead tried to bring the familiar flavor of Left 4 Dead or other zombie survival games where we hold off waves of enemies. Each wave comes with an increased level of difficulty. The marshland map itself is expertly made and provides lots of space to maneuver and come up with different experience everytime you play. Its a great addition to your Magicka DLC collection and is a must have DLC for all avid Magicka fans.

Fun But Doesn't Last Long
Bertolli | Aug. 16, 2011 | See all Bertolli's reviews »If you have ever played Call of Duty Zombie mode or Gears of War's Horde Mode well this is Magicka's equivalent to those game modes. Basically your stuck in a swamp and constantly get attacked by waves on enemies with each progressive wave getting slightly harder. Its fun but sadly since there is only 1 map and the game ends at 20 rounds it can get old fairly quickly. However its still some great fun as long as you have the friends to play with.

The map itself is fairly unique with multiple ways for the enemy to approach you and the inclusion of a number of enemies who are rarely seen outside the campaign.
