Immortal Throne is giving a very challenging 18+ hours long Act, Act 4 to Titan Quest (Act 1-3 was 32+ hours). The story continues where the core game has ended and now you have to find a way from Rhodos to cross the River Styx, to then descend and discover the depth of the mythological underworld and all its levels, such as the City of the Lost Souls, The Tower of Judgement or the Elysium. This expansion pack upgrades an already perfect ARPG to the next level with brand new features, a new mastery class (And eight cross-classes with it), brand new enemies, challenging minor and major bosses, and very large, diverse, detailed, artistic and beautiful levels. As Titan Quest was highly-highly recommended, Titan Quest: Immortal Throne is highly-highly-highly recommended to those who love ARPG and mythology!

Titan Quest's very own "Lord of Destruction," this expansion also adds an extra fourth Act after China in the base game, as well as various improvements and new mechanics such as the caravan, which acts as a much needed shared storage between your characters, higher level cap and more loot. The new area is every bit as well-designed as the old ones with a new kind of aesthetic to it.
A new class, Dream mastery, also makes its appearance and with a wide support and offensive ability pool, it is an excellent choice to be combined with just about anything.
It does what an expansion should do and is highly recommended to be installed before you even start the main game.

This expansion adds a lot of content to the game. There is nothing special you have to do to access it as it'll just start up after you complete the base games story.
The game play remains the same but you get ten more levels, more areas to explore, artifacts and a few other good things such as new enemies to fight.
If you enjoyed the base game there is no reason to not have this expansion.

Titan Quest Immortal Throne is a good way to expand the main game and keep to play this good hack'n slash. The expansions has a good story and the gameplay remains the same of the base version of the game. There are no particular innovation, but this is not a problem because Titan Quest is a good game. The only defect is that if you already finished the base version of the game but you lost the savegame, you must finish again the main campaign to start the expansion
A worthwhile expansionGh0st233 | Aug. 20, 2012 | See all Gh0st233's reviews »
The Immortal Throne is, what we used to call things like this 5-6 years ago, an expansion, and a good one at that. What this expansion, or for you newcomers, big DLC, brings is an increased level cap, new classes with new mastery trees, new locations and, of course, monsters, and new equipment.
It is definitely worth it, especially on your first time playing it, and even if you've already had lots of fun with the original Titan Quest. Your character's level is maxed out? Worry not, because this brings 10 more levels!
Immortal Throne is a worthy purchase, tho you may want to buy the Gold edition, which has both the base game, and the expansion, which should cost 5$ less than what both of these cost combined.
