"Finally, BF3 gets some DLC emphasizes everything that makes the series great. With a focus on maps and new game modes that enhance both the team-based and vehicle gameplay, this pack does exactly what every DLC release should do: makes the base game better. This should pull those who have drifted away from the game in recent months back into the battle!" - gamingnexus.com
"Some of the best map design DICE has ever come out with and a combat experience no other game can match. Useful range of new vehicles and Tank Superiority is great." - metro.co.uk

In my opinion, Armoured Kill was the king of the Battlefield 3 expansions. The maps are vast and diverse, with areas for both wide spread vehicle engagements as well as up close and personal infantry action. The addition of rocket artillery and high speed IFV based Tank Destroyers added to the challenge of the new maps. You'll be capping a flag and before you know it, you're under an artillery barrage. The Tank Destroyers spiced up the heavy armoured combat; IFV aficionados were granted a bigger punch with AP canons whilst keeping their speed and agility to run rings around the main battle tanks. The addition of the AC-130 Gunship spiced up the ground action for everyone, focussing a lot of assaults on the Gunship activation flag // For the Gunship to become active for your team, you had to hold a designated flag // creating large scale battles at the beginning of rounds. Admittedly overpowered when AK was first released (the Gunship could be set to respawn automatically on destruction), DICE's balancing of its reload times and fixed respawn timer evened out its massive destructive power with a genuine need for your air assets to cover you from attack.
All in all, my favourite of the BF3 expansions, paving the way for a lot of features we'll be seeing in Battlefield 4. If you enjoy wide spread battles and vehicle warfare, this is the expansion for you.

This DLC is a very good add -on to the main game. It brings new tanks and maps, the biggest maps so far which are so much fun! This dlc focuses on vehicles and having fun on them while playing. Now your teams have multiple helicopters flying around while you can bomb enemies from a gun ship on the sky! This brings a totally new element to the game than players now have to consider. DICE has done excellent work with this DLC with the largest Battlefield maps and tons of vehicles. I personally think this is the best addon out of all 5!

Obviously you'll only be getting this if you enjoy battlefield. For those that don't have enough to buy premium i'll start by saying that if you are going to get one, get this one. This is an amazing edition to battlefield 3 and i've been round a friends playing it most of today (it came out this morning) he has BF3 on PC and I have it on Xbox 360. I'll also mention that it's only great on PC. The maps are absolutely massive which is great fun in a 64 player match however with only 24 people (xbox 360 version) roaming around a map that must be 2km across it does get a bit boring. Tanks were one of my favorite parts of BF3 which is a reason that I enjoy this map pack and the new game mode so much. The DICE team have really done an amazing job creating the landscape in all 4 maps. The only reason not to get this is if you don't enjoy the engineer class or tanks/ helecopters/jets in the main game.
At the moment Rush on these maps is unfair as one team has an overpowering AC130 plane but DICE will probably update the game in the future making it more fair, but for the moment i'd stick to conquest on these maps.

Armored Kill is a DLC pack for people who like to use air and ground vehicles. The new maps of this pack are really large and so the players can use many of the vehicles present in the map to explore it. The DLC adds also new vehicles in order to increase your option: now you can use slow but powerful tanks or decide to move fast around the maps with the new APC for example. In this large maps the game is epic when there are many players and you can see epic fights between vehicles.
