"Whether you're new to Bad Company 2 or have been repairing, healing, and blowing up other players [...] Bad Company 2 - Vietnam is among the best multiplayer experiences this year." - IGN
"Excellent maps, a focus on close-range combat, and great period atmosphere keep this downloadable add-on from feeling like more of the same." - GameSpot
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam is a content-heavy expansion for the game that has sold more than 5 million copies and has been called "a better game than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" by The New York Times.
At the heart of this expansion lie four distinct, brand-new multiplayer maps based on the Vietnam war. Each map brings a new gameplay experience and fresh visuals, with characteristics such as foxholes, tunnels and dense jungles from where the enemy can launch surprise attacks. Also, 15 classic Vietnam-era weapons and 6 vehicles are available from the moment you go online.
All four multiplayer game modes from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, including the genre-defining Conquest Mode, will be playable in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. The expansion is integrated with the full game persistence, so no matter what theatre of war you participate in, you will continue to level up your soldier as usual.
To set that unmistakable 60's atmosphere, the audio team at DICE has recorded all-new voice-overs for both sides of the conflict, based on authentic dialogue from the Vietnam war. On top of this, a rocking soundtrack with 2 hours worth of time typical tracks gives the expansion a truly characteristic sound.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is all-out multiplayer warfare at its absolute finest. With this new expansion, the battle moves to tropical Vietnam for a new chance to settle the score: Which team has the biggest skills, the smartest tactics, and the tightest squad play?
Extremely good dlc but bad player countBrownninja97 | May 6, 2015 | See all Brownninja97's reviews »
This is a very good dlc, its like a completely different game using the engine that comes with bfbc2 and the level of detail in everything is out of this world for the time that it came out. there was also a lot of new weapons and vehicles. As it stands this is the best battlefield dlc ever however there isnt much people playing it anymore so thats the risk which comes with it.

Bad Company 2: Vietnam is able to offer fans of Battlefield experience completely different from that contained in the disk of Bad Company 2, but without sacrificing the excellent gameplay that already characterized the original title. Once again it is necessary to choose between one of these classes, so get out on the battlefield armed with the equipment most suited to your style of play. This time, however, the environment is characterized by dense vegetation in Vietnam. Just like in BC2, accumulating experience you can unlock new weapons, all in line with the historical period in which this expansion takes place. So a dlc really well done, of course, as long as you like Bad Company.
Good DLC, well worth the pricepman | Oct. 23, 2011 | See all pman's reviews »
I very rarely purchase DLC for my games, but, being one of my favourite games of all time, i felt obliged to buy this expansion pack for Battlefield BC2 and let me say I am very happy I did so. Firstly, for the price this DLC package is HUGE featuring four new multi player maps, 15 new Vietnam era weapons and plenty of new vehicles! However, by far my favourite part of this DLC is the music, which is riddled with classic 60's tracks. Although this DLC does not add to the solid single player campaign, i still strongly recommend this DLC for any fan of Battlefield BC2 or even the classic Battlefield Vietnam.
