Welcome to Rapture!
BioShock - a first person shooter experience unlike any other, played out in Rapture, an immense underwater utopia torn apart by a genetic civil war. Explore a deadly but incredible art deco world filled with formidable technology and fascinating characters. You'll have a complete arsenal at your disposal, from simple revolvers to rocket launchers and flamethrowers. Challenge the constraints of nature by genetically modifying your DNA with injected PLASMIDS and embrace super human powers.
Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. Players step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as they travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and their own survival.
Multiplayer in BioShock 2 will provide a rich prequel experience that expands the origins of the BioShock fiction. Set during the fall of Rapture, players assume the role of a Plasmid test subject for Sinclair Solutions, a premier provider of Plasmids and Tonics in the underwater city of Rapture that was first explored in the original BioShock. Players will need to use all the elements of the BioShock toolset to survive, as the full depth of the BioShock experience is refined and transformed into a unique multiplayer experience that can only be found in Rapture.

Two of the best FPS out there. They have some RPG elements to spice up the gameplay. You can juggle plasmids and tonics to play the games your way. Weapons can be upgraded to, but beware, as the uprgades have a finite number, and NOT all weapons can be upgraded. So chose wisely.
Stories behind those games are trully amazing. And you can actually chose, to some extent of course, how the games will end! They have multiple endings, so you can play both games few times to get them all.
As I stated in the beginning - Bioshock + Bioshock 2 are excellent FPS games. Also, they are worthy successors, or heirs if you will, of System Shock 2. If you enjoyed said game, you will not be dissappointed in Bioshock.

The Bioshock games sure are something you should not miss. If you're not into FPS games much this is something different. In the game you can wield a gun in one hand an shoot fire out of your other hand. Both games are really great and have an awesome story with many twists.

The double Bioshock pack includes the first two Bioshock games (Bioshock Infinite not included), and while I doubt there's anybody unfamiliar with the franchise, if there is such a person they should hold back no longer and simply try these games. They seem to be just two more shooters, but I would be surprised if you are not lost to the storytelling there. It has some of the best settings, story and characters. Gameplay aside, because it's a class in itself, the two games are just legends which shouldn't be absent in any modern gamer's collection. The underwater setting, the DNA modifications, the exciting shooting action, and great storyline, they all guarantee the money will be well spent.

The first Bioshock game was excellent. Not necessarily for fun gunplay and combat, but for its level design and atmosphere. It feels so grim right from the start, and the plot is exceptionally written. Bioshock 2 keeps the same atmosphere, heightens the combat to be a little more fun, and overall gives a modest entry into the series. The story isn't as strong there but it's more of the Bioshock you've come to love. Highly recommended and it DOES tie into Bioshock Infinite.

The Bioshock franchise is indeed a great one. It's been around for a while, and with the latest addition of the Infinite title, the hype is back. So what better way to get into the games if haven't already, than buying the first two titles at a discounted price? They're great first person games, they have a really steampunk-ish environment which I, personally, loved, and an amount of details which will get you into it even more. It's good, it's cheap, go grab it!
