Improves on Heavy Fire Afghanistan but still a poor game

Heavy Fire Shattered Spear is a rail shooter, with occasional quick time events, that plays like the previous title Heavy Fire Afghanistan. The graphics have been improved, they are certainly not cutting edge or incredible but environments look fine and you now get more feedback when shooting enemies, making the game significantly more enjoyable than the first. You take damage easier than you did in the first game which I believe is an improvement but sometimes you can start taking damage before you are able to react to enemy fire. There seems to be some hit detection issues where you are able to hit enemies by shooting near them. If you are really desperate for a rail shooter this is an improvement on their last title, but your money is still better spent elsewhere.
