TouchFox is an interesting idea on paper, but honestly does not need to exist. Instead of using a mouse and keyboard or a controller, you use TouchFox to play a game on your tablet. This means you will be holding your tablet, draining its battery life quickly, using only your thumbs to play this game. F3AR was not designed to be played like this. It is a fast paced shooter that requires the use of your left thumb to press the joystick, your right thumb to press various buttons, your left pointer finger to press the left shoulder and trigger buttons, and your right pointer finger to press the right shoulder and trigger buttons, usually all at once. TouchFox’s controls do not allow for this. Additionally, why would you want to play F3AR on a tablet when you have a high-powered gaming PC? You will only end up playing the game on an inferior system and get inferior graphics, inferior framerates, and an overall inferior experience. Whoever made TouchFox for F3AR was not thinking about whether or not the gameplay would be a good fit for it. And it shows.
