Description

Based on the motto ‘do not just watch – participate’, the Bungee Jumping simulator offers countless venues - from the ordinary crane above bridges and dams to buildings and even hot-air-balloons. With the increasing degree of difficulty and experience of the player the jumps take place in ever higher positions. Those who show the most beautiful jumps and even perform combos (sequences) will be rewarded with high ratings. An additional fat bonus can be racked if you go for a touchdown, where you slightly touch the ground or water. In higher levels you even have to determine the cord type and the length of it yourself. But take care - those who act recklessly live dangerously. The game provides a global highscore list due to which players can compete in all classes with their remote competitors. The motivation doesn’t dwindle, as there are daily, weekly, monthly and eternal highscore lists.

  • Complete detailed 3D environment
  • Varied jumper animations
  • Many jumper characters can be combined
  • Elaborated ranking system
  • 3 levels of difficulty
  • International highscore lists
  • Countless jump venues

Unique. But Ultimately, Why?

The gameplay is unique to say the least (and I won't be surprised if this is the only Bungee Jump simulator to exist) but the game becomes dull fast. Not really much of a simulator due to the fact its not realistic, it has you trying to get combo points as you fall in a manner such as diving in a pool. The environment varients offer no defining eyecandy and you will be so focused on your character that you won't notice anyway. Fun for about 5 minutes.

Not so good

Bungieware | Aug. 20, 2011 | See all Bungieware's reviews »

It may not be the most realistic depiction of bungee jumping that you will find and there isn't really any fun to be had with this game. It offers something different to the waves for FPS and action-adventure games that are available today. However, the scoring system doesn't make much sense and the environments are quite plain. I wouldn't really call it a simulator and it's not in the same mould as the other simulation games that Layernet make. Overall it's a game that may seem fun at first, but gets boring quite quickly.

Interesting

This game is quite interesting and unique, offering a whole new perspective on bungee jumping. The graphics aren't brilliant and the game becomes very boring after a while. The highscores are difficult to beat, so despite the fact that this is one of the main attractions of the game, it is quite pointless. Not very good.
