This expansion pack adds so much to the base game and is a must have expansion for any simmer. Ambitions really adds to the game play and makes life in your sims town more exciting. The new careers and skills, as well as behaviors that your sims can now partake in are amazing! From inventing to sculpting this expansion doesn't disappoint!

The Sims 3 Ambitions expansion pack really does make the game more fun. With the player now able to apply for jobs where they can actually see their sim working and make decisions if quite fun. Fire fighting is extremely fun though can really be repetitive and long lasting at times is enjoyable. The Ghost hunting career really is fun and being able to be self-employed makes it worth while.

This expansion will add a lot to your game. Now depending on how you play the game this can be a good or bad thing. Personally I like seeing the interactions more than I like pursuit of careers and I was a little disappointed by the amount of energy the jobs took. You need to really focus on making sure your sim can make it through the day, make sure they are fed, won't be sleeping on the job, go to the washroom, talk to work friends and manage to drive over to do their missions. It makes it more realistic and demanding. Now while I didn't find it my cup of tea I certainly can see why others would enjoy it. The new skills add quite a bit to the game, inventing can be very exciting, I really like seeing what you end up with. Making a simbot yourself can be quite the challenge but thankfully your lifetime rewards includes one, they are excellent maids and can help out with the kids. The female simbots are less attractive but the male simbots have a certain charm to them. I would recommend this for those who want to play sims 3 with a more micromanaging style. Over all its a solid expansion.

This expansion pack, once installed, doesn't feel like one whatsoever. It adds so much to the game, but is simple and quiet enough, to not make a large difference. It is an amazing add-on to the Sims 3 experience. While your sims are on their job schedules, the ability to choose how they react and behave during work/school is a great addition, as it makes the game that much more life-like. The introduction of the investigator, scientist, and firefighter are great obvious jobs to add, my only criticism is the "ghost hunter" job, it seems out of place. The tattoo artist is my personal favourite, as it just seems like it should've been there all along.
