Get your Sims an all-access pass to the hottest spots in town. Whether they mingle with celebrities or enjoy a casual night with friends, your Sims’ social lives are getting a boost! But keep in mind that some scenes are more exclusive than others, so make sure your Sims have the right connections to get past the bouncers at the hottest clubs. Wherever your Sims go, they’ll discover new things to become—adored celebrities, all-night partiers, rowdy bandmates, or sexy vampires. What will your Sims get up to after dark?

  • Hang out at the hottest spots in town, from dive bars to dance clubs to chic lounges, complete with bouncers.

  • Gain fame and fortune as a member of a music band, mixologist, director, or local celebrity. Explore certain areas of town in the thick of the night and you may be initiated into the dark life of a vampire.

  • Gain access to exclusive areas and enjoy celebrity perks like penthouse living, luxury hot tubs and cars.

Good Expansion, Comes with an Asterick

Settaz | Oct. 1, 2013 | See all Settaz's reviews »

Okay, so this can be a very fun expansion for a while. You go out get to party, meet celebrities become a celebrity (which is far to easy by the way), and you get to live in a penthouse! But, within that penthouse is little to nothing, it's a very small space where I'd personally like to live in a house. If you don't have an up to par CPU, Graphics Card, or something that the game thinks your computer/laptop isn't good than your experience will be very bad and dry. The clubs are empty, there aren't any sims anywhere, and this requires extra to get the game actually populated. So, if you have a single sim that likes to party and a good enough rig to play it on than this should be a pretty good expansion!

Like to Party?

If you like to get your sims to party, this is an essential. Or if you don't like sending your sim to work and would rather make their career yourself, get this.

On it's own, this expansion adds a lot of content, depth and some fantastic venues. Match this with the Showtime expansion and your party experience will be amazing, boundless and endless.

Some other suggestions to improve the Late Night experience: Date Night DLC, 70s, 80s and 90s Stuff, Diesel Stuff & Town Life Stuff.

My fav. Sims 3 Expansion

Sims 3 Late Night takes place in a downtown of a vibrant city, probably inspired by New York City. Instead of houses there are apartments and penthouses which I think is a very cool addition. At night there are 1 or 2 hot places, which basically means places with lots of other sims in them. You can figure out which places are hot that night with newspapers and the internet. If you go to the wrong club or a party there's a chance it's completely empty. Another addition is vampires, pretty simple. You're active at night, get bitten to become one. My favorite part of this expansion is the fame level. The more famous you are the more people will recognize you at parties. If you're famous you can get past the bouncers with no hassle and become the life of the party. If not famous, you'll have to pay or sneak past.
