Achieve Academic Excellence.Learning is more fun than ever with new major-specific objects, from broadcasting your own radio show as a Communications student to assembling your skeleton as a Science major. Your Sims can also learn outside of the classroom through class activities, lectures at the student union, and joining in social activities.
Get Ready to Party! Text books and study groups are a big part of university, but sometimes Sims just need to party! From hosting bonfires by the lake to doing juice keg stands at a dorm party, there are lots of ways to have a great time at university.
Make Connections and Network. There are three social groups on campus—the nerds, the rebels, and the jocks. Socializing with members of each group offers its own unique advantages, from unlocking dream jobs to an extra trait.
Tap into Your Defiant Side! Sims can express themselves by organizing or attending protests, creating murals and graffiti, and even cheating on exams.
Actions Matter. Just like in real life, the decisions your Sims make across academics, socializing, and social groups affect each other in an interconnected way.
Reap Benefits After University too! Reach the top job in your career path more easily with faster promotions and a higher entry-level job for university grads. If your Sim becomes a legend with their social group, they may even land a dream job as an art appraiser, sports agent, or video game developer!
Explore the Campus and Town. From striking out at the bowling alley to flirting with the barista at the Roasted Toasted Beans to browsing comic books at the Keith’s Komics, there’s a whole new town and campus full of places to explore.
A Great EP!iZombieLexxi | Dec. 21, 2014 | See all iZombieLexxi's reviews »
This EP also added many new, amazing features to TS3. I really enjoyed the whole aspect of my sims going to classes and living in dorms. The whole campus is very detailed and realistic. They've added some many new features that it would take a while to name them all. But my favorites include: the cafe's, bowling, juice pong, more "juiced" interactions, the build/buy furniture and the dorms. One problem I did have with the EP was, I could never switch back to other family members who were not on campus (aka the University world). Other than that, great expansion.
College has never been so fun!uglies | May 31, 2014 | See all uglies's reviews »
Go to college and major in what your sim aspires. Go to parties and hang out with the social group you wish to belong in. Perform a protest, do a keg stand with the jocks, date hot chicks, spray paint the streets, or have a class outdoors drawing and sketching the world around you. The possibilities are endless.
An experience!jerryhsiao | May 26, 2013 | See all jerryhsiao's reviews »
This expansion pack promises much addition, which it does in some fields. Your sims now have a more diverse span of jobs/occupations, and the "college experience" is comically portrayed. Much like many of the other sims 3 occupation-based eps (late night, showtime, ambitions), there isn't a specific theme, rather a very applicable tag to your sims story. It adds many more animations, very acute and detailed, and your sims have even more to do now. The music is very modern, with up and coming british pop songstress Blaise's single "Thunderstorm", to indie band The Mowgli's "San Francisco". It includes a bit of each character, and all around is a great experience. My only criticism is that although the campus option is great, it seems like it would've been better to keep bowling alleys and other such places more "Town-oriented". Still an amazing ep.
