This seems a bit of an old game now by today's standards. Clearly paving the way for the more famous "Poker Night at the Inventory" (PNatI), this game has you playing Texas Hold Em' in a very similar format to that of the later game. It's set up to sound like a live televised poker tournament. Other than that, the gameplay is essentially the game. The characters have a fairly detailed back-story with a lot of unique phrases. It *seems* the characters do play to their personalities - much like PNatI. The dialogue is quite cranky, though the characters and their conversations are amusing. If I'm honest, I would buy PNatI or PNatI2 over this. That's mainly because PNatI is a newer game featuring big IP characters. TellTale have definitely ironed out all the creases by then.
