The Sims 3: Pets
This is an expansion pack and therefore requires The Sims 3 to be installed on the same system to function correctly.
"Pets puts the series and franchise back on track and continues to make its virtual worlds even more fleshed out. As always, this expansion isn't going to make any non-Sims player a convert, but if you're still enjoying your digital families, this is a good expansion to pick up." - IGN.com
"Horses and controllable cats and dogs give The Sims 3: Pets a good deal of heart." - Gamespot.com

I enjoy pets very much and it adds a nice amount of content to the game. In the dlc you recieve a new town and three pets you can control what are horses, cats and dogs. In the game you can collect insects and reptiles to store in your home in tanks also wild animas such as deer are added whats a nice touch. But what i really like about this expansion is that you can controll your pet like a sim, pets have traits and lifetime happiness and can level up on their skills. Your sim and talk and play with your pet like past games and teach them new skills. Horses are a new pet added with the expansion nd with them you new a number of cool and exiting things. If you enjoy the sims 3 game i would recommend this to you because it adds in so much content.

The Sims 3: Pets is a good expansion pack. It adds more human traits to the already well developed pet system in the Sims 3 and makes it easier to care for your pets and help your sims get to know them. It also offers new opportunities to play as you, the player, control the pet and this allows for new experiences and many new chances to explore the house from a different perspective. It also adds many new animals to the core game and this is the biggest change to the game out of all the Sims 3 DLC packs in my opinion. If you like the pets in the Sims 3 and would enjoy more of that gameplay then this DLC is for you!
A decent Add-on to the Sims series.pman | Oct. 23, 2011 | See all pman's reviews »
Sims expansions don't exactly have the best reputation for being good value, however this add-on seems to break the trend. While some other sims add-ons just seem to offer new objects to place in the house, this add-on offers entirely new game play opportunities as you control the pet. Of course, there are still a number of new items for your sims to interact with if that's your thing. I recommend this for anyone who is a fan of the sims series or even just to animal lovers.
