This DLC does so much right its easy to forget the smaller shortcomings which ultimately don't hurt the overall, brilliant experience and the added content that this DLC brilliantly delivers in such a clean and clever style that its worth the full price, let alone on sale. The DLC makes the city seems SO much more lively and adds lots of incentive to go out and explore the various town and see what you can find and if there are any unusual people you can meet. There are plenty of new locations such as the Gym which allows you to experience more of the sims lives and the universe they live in. Get this DLC!

Fact - Sims 3's cities were dull. You were mostly centered in your house, occasionally sending your Sims to work, but that was about it. The Town Life Stuff pack fixes that. It adds new community buildings, and items. And the town feels more lively. If you are willing to give 14$ for that - go ahead. It's well spent.
