Overlooked little gems

The Ace Patrol games are often overlooked and ignored games. And it's a shame, because they're two little gems from the father of Civilization, Sid Meier. I suppose they originated from games for mobile devices, but the PC ports are really good and don't feel forced or rushed. Both games address the subject of aerial combat, and each of them features a different period - World War One or World War Two - Pacific theater. I suppose people consider them little indie games unworthy of their interest, but in fact these two have surprising depth and enough room for tactical decisions. The games come with enjoyable campaigns, in which you gain experience, earn promotions, etc. Both Ace Patrol games look neat and play in an intuitive way. And the bundle is so cheap that you cannot go wrong with it.
