Arsenal of Democracy is a community-made, improved version of Hearts of Iron 2. If you enjoy Hearts of Iron 2 and grand strategy games in general, you'll enjoy Arsenal of Democracy. If you're not a fan of either, then the extremely steep learning curve will and the endless micromanagement inherent to this game will probably turn you off quickly.
Enjoyable Game!Plasros | July 6, 2013 | See all Plasros's reviews »
Very good game that expands on HOI2 in every way. If you want to replay HOI2 go with this game as it is far interesting and challenging. I still would play this over HOI3.

After playing this game for a short while I decided that I would write a short review on it. The game is strategy and almost reminds me of the board game of risk. It's fun and I have had a few hours of fun out of it. My main issue would be the clunky user interface, it serves its purpose but I don't think it's as intuitive as it could have been. However saying this, the game has some great aspects and I will likely buy the sequel!
