Intriguing Plot Twists
In previous games, the war between the Allies and Soviets was coming to a close with the Allies nearing victory. In desperation, the Soviets created a time-travel device that they've used to assassinate Albert Einstein before he is able to develop the weapon technology the Allies later use to defeat the Soviets. Upon returning, they notice a new world, and there is a world war taking place between three groups for control of the world.
Last good Command and Conquer game?Furrek | Aug. 1, 2014 | See all Furrek's reviews »
I know it's not same Red Alert or Command and Conquer game, but that's probably last title in the series that I enjoyed. Well, not as the previous games, but this one is not bad. Like in any C&C, in Red Alert 3 there are also short movies with real actors, but it may be just be, that some of them were just... bad. I wasn't so excited watching them. As for campaign, you are able to play as Allies, Soviets and Rising Sun. The most fun of all were probably Rising Sun, but sadly all of campaigns were mildly interesting. The only good thing from this game were probably skirmishes with other players, or playing the whole game in coop, which I did. Since online isn't available, get this game only if you want to play alone. Also I don't think so that EA will think about running this game online anymore.
