Customer notes

Requires Europa Universalis IV (base game) to use this DLC

Description

The Europa Universalis IV Pre-Order Pack allows players who missed out on the pre-order to access the bonus content, with the exception of the Crusader Kings II Save Converter (sold separately).

This pack contains the following DLC:

  • Purple Phoenix:

In the year 1444, the once proud Byzantium is all but a shadow of its former glory. Dwarfed by its powerful neighbors, the Byzantine Empire is in a precarious position. The vital trade city of Constantinople is under threat from Ottoman armies, the end seems near, but perhaps the Purple Phoenix can still rise from the ashes of the old empire.

Europa Universalis IV: Purple Phoenix DLC adds new, unique events, themed event pictures as well as several new unit models to the Byzantine Empire.

  • 100 Years War Unit Pack

For a hundred years, England and France have fought over the throne of France, drawing many of their allies into the conflict.

With several new, unique unit models for the belligerent nations, the 100 Years War Unit Pack will enhance the experience of Europa Universalis IV. Included in this unit pack are 11 infantry models for the warring nations, including England, France, Scotland, Burgundy and many more.

For those who were late at the EU IV party

In the best tradition of preorders, those who preordered Europa Universalis IV received some interesting additions to their game. And these are not purely cosmetic, unimportant expansions that you can easily ignore. The Purple Phoenix pack expands the subject of the Byzantine empire by adding new events and graphic customizations of units and pictures. The 100 Years War Unit pack, obviously, addresses the 100 Years War period, and makes it more historically accurate by adding new and more period specific unit models.

Now you regret not having preordered the game? Don't worry, you can still get the DLCs separately. That's what the Europa Universalis IV: Pre-Order Pack is for. So if you jumped on the EU IV train too late, get it and enjoy your improved gaming experience.
