Like all the games in the Grand Ages line of games, this one is also great. This special Gold edition includes, along with the Grand Ages: Rome game, an expansion entitled "The Reign of Augustus". This expansion pack includes about 5 new buildings, 20 - 25 estates and 12 maps. It includes 2 campaigns, with nearly 60 missions in total. The historical locations are very nicely recreated. The graphics are great, far better than their Age of Empires counterparts. The AI is really clever, and it is genuinely fun to play against it. 8.5/10
Great Strategy Game.drafek | Aug. 8, 2013 | See all drafek's reviews »
The Grand ages games always were great, this one is the same. This edition also includes a expansion pack called "Reign of Augustus", it includes 4 more buildings, 20 estates and even 12 maps.. There are 2 campaigns, which do include 50+ missions in total. There are great historical locations. The online feature works well, eventhough there aren't that many online lobbies. The graphics are great, not the best in the world but they're good. The strategy part is done well. The AI is smart, so it's fun playing againts them.
