As one of the higher priced Magicka Downloadable content, you'd expect it to be as full of content as for example The Stars are left. But when it's in a sale for a bit of a lower price, You would be smart to get this. It has several weapons and staffs which are a hell of fun online with friends. All 'props' have their own crazy strange reaction to your gameplay and all have their own perks in power!
Not worth the full priceCJV | Aug. 18, 2012 | See all CJV's reviews »
This is one of that DLCs that make me not like DLCs. They might as well have added this to the for free or at least made the DLC a lot cheaper. It adds some new toys to play it but not really worth 3€. I don't think it's even worth 0.50€...
A DLC with lots of content for the price, but is it worth it?Gh0st233 | June 21, 2012 | See all Gh0st233's reviews »
This is actually one of the Magicka "cosmetic" DLCs that has a lot of content, but it brings nothing new to the story, but just some new toys to play with. However, there is a twist to it. You can only use these in the Challenge modes and versus modes. That means, no, you can't use these fancy new weapons in the campaign mode, which is a bit of a turn-off. However, it does add some 10 or so new weapons for your wizard to use.
Not worth it if you're looking for something to enhance your story experience, as you can't use them in the story. However, if you're looking for new weapons to use in the versus or challenge gamemodes, and you play those frequently, then I'd say that the $3 pricetag may not be all that much. However, you should wait for a sale, as they drop below $1.
