The Denmark Civilization
The Denmark Civilization and Scenario Pack brings you both the Denmark Civilization and the new Scenario, 1066: Year of Viking Destiny, to further enhance your Civilization V experience. Rule the world as Harald Bluetooth, with your powerful Berserker warriors and Ski Infantry!
In 1066: Year of Viking Destiny, the throne of England is up for grabs. Take the role of one of four leaders and seize control of the British Isles! Special rules for the scenario ensure that the only way to win is by the cunning use of force. Can you complete the Domesday Book and secure legal rule before your rivals? Use unique units for each faction in the scenario to claim the throne and stand the test of time!
Denmark Ruler – Harald Bluetooth
Harald Bluetooth (920 – 986 AD) was King of Denmark for nearly 30 years. During his reign, he united the earls of Denmark and Norway and defended his people from invasion from Sweden and Germany. Today he is viewed as a just and wise king of Denmark.
Explorers Map Pack
Ten fantastic single-player maps make up this Civilization V DLC pack designed by Firaxis Games. Five of the maps are based on real-world locations, chosen for their historical interest and gameplay possibilities. The remaining five are scripted map environments. These maps will change from game to game, but will focus on an exciting gameplay theme. From the arid Sandstorm to the lush Amazon, and from the Caribbean to the Bering Strait, these maps will give skillful Civilization V players new lands to conquer!
The best DLC buy so far, right up there with Koreanightassassin1 | Aug. 28, 2013 | See all nightassassin1's reviews »
This DLC adds two together for a cheaper price, giving more than most other DLC packs do for this game. The extra maps added for this game give single player mode a much larger choice for what you can play as well as the extra scenarios and civilizations you can play as. This brought hours and hours of extra game play to the game for me. If you buy the Gold version of the game you can get this with that game, however if you bought the base game you will need to purchase this DLC to go with it. I would recommend getting this DLC if you get any of them or look at the Korea one as well.
I am just happy about the price point for this pack over most of everything else. You get a very good amount of extras for the game compared to some of the smaller DLCs for close to the same price. This is one of the better packs to get for a good price on the DLC.

The Civilization V - Denmark and Explorer's Combo Pack. To make this easier, I am going to review both separately.
Denmark This DLC brings you the Denmark civilization, together with a new scenario - 1066: Year of Viking Destiny. The scenario has a big longevity and a lot of different approaches. To win, you must take over the British Isles. I really like the quality of the scenario, and who wouldn't like playing as a viking?
Explorers Map Pack If you thought vanilla Civ V didn't have that big a map selection, this DLC is for you. It adds historical locations/events scenarios set in The British Isles, Japan, the Caribbean and other places.
If you buy these separately it costs 10 dollars; but with this package you save 25%. I loved both DLCs and definitely recommend this package to everyone.
