Enjoyable campaigns, multiplayer, and a fun co-op mode

This pack will get you Dawn of War 2, the expansions Chaos Rising and Retribution, and all the DLC for the games co-op mode. The Last Stand. The campaigns of Dawn of War 2 and Chaos Rising have you once again taking the role of Blood Ravens first attempting to defeat the Tyranid and then facing the forces of Chaos while attempting to prevent themselves from being corrupted. The final expansion Retribution features six different campaigns, each allowing you to play as a different race with their own hero units. The campaign of Dawn of War 2 doesn't play like an RTS like the first title, instead you will choose four powerful hero units that can level up, gain new abilities, and equip a large variety of equipment as the game goes on. While other units can join you on the battlefield, the primary and best combatants will be your hero units and the soldiers assigned to them. The different campaigns of Retribution are similar and I don't believe they were as balanced as the first two games but the different heroes will cause the story and dialogue to be different. The campaigns are also playable in co-op. The multiplayer portions of the game play more like the previous Dawn of War where you will be capturing points in order to gain resources required to create units and upgrade them with the equipment that you want them to use. Retribution adds an enjoyable co-op horde style mode that has heroes fighting and attempting to survive against waves of enemies. The single player focus may have changed to smaller forces and have become more of a loot based action game but it is still very enjoyable and the multiplayer and co-op are great. A worthy sequel and the games are definitely worth playing for fans of the genre or of Warhammer 40,000.
