World in Conflict: Soviet Assault is a sort of DLC for the original game, World in Conflict. Soviet Assault provides those familiar with the base game a look at the other side of the coin, with a Soviet take on the events happening at the same time. Using the Russian made vehicles and aircraft provide a different, if not THAT different experience for those that finished the main game. This set of missions does play within the original campaign, and can be played in succession, switching between the American and Soviet perspective.

Besides that, the expansion content is exactly what you would expect and up to the same quality as the original missions. I personally would have liked to have seen actual Russian language with subtitles, without using Russian accented English, but that's the way it goes.

This is worth your while if you want more of World in Conflict.
