On the 29th of September Cuphead turned two, and after hitting five million sales there’s reason to celebrate for the team at Studio MDHR, that surprised the world with their incredible first outing.
If you’ve been living under a rock for two years though here’s a rundown for you:
Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game heavily focused on boss battles. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand-drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.
Play as Cuphead or Mugman (in single player or local co-op) as you traverse strange worlds, acquire new weapons, learn powerful super moves, and discover hidden secrets while you try to pay your debt back to the devil!

Here’s what you need to do to ENTER the giveaway:
- Download one of the black and white images below of characters from the game
- Colour it in, however you want. Print it, photoshop it, MS Paint it if you want, we just wanna see what wild designs you can come up with.
- Post your artwork to THIS THREAD on the Green Man Gaming forum and we’ll announce the winners on Friday 4th October.
