This year’s E3 is probably going to be pretty big for Microsoft with a possible new console reveal (well more of a HD remaster as apposed to a brand new product), here what we would like to see from Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference.
Project Scorpio
Let’s just address the console sized elephant in the room right now. Project Scorpio has been teased for months now and Microsoft have finally confirmed that they are going to be revealing their mysterious 4k monster. We can probably expect Project Scorpio to take up most if not all of the conference as Microsoft love to showcase their shiny tech.
Games for Project Scorpio
With new hardware you would expect Microsoft to lift the lid on what title will launch with the new Xbox. We’ll probably get some re-releases of popular Xbox One games such as Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3, maybe even Halo 5 and/or Halo Wars 2. It would be nice to see some brand new title debut on Scorpio as well, maybe Forza Motorsport 7, Gears of War 5 or Even Halo 6? Maybe not the latter unfortunately, according to Halo community manager Brian Jarrard at least.
Crackdown 3
We have to get a release date for this now surely? First announced at E3 in 2014 it’s about time we have an official release date, it has been slated for release this year so hopefully we shall get a confirmation during the press conference. Also fully destructible environments sound like a lot of fun, this could potentially be a native release for Scorpio?
Backwards compatibility covering original Xbox titles
We can hope right?
