We\u2019ve known about this unusual-looking third-person shooter for nearly a year now, but aside from looking pretty and being filled with monster giblets, it can be hard to know what you\u2019re meant to know about the game. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, as long as what you want is information on this vampire-slaying action game, then we\u2019ve got everything you need. Read on to find out more about the Evil West release date, a little bit about gameplay, and a trailer or two if we\u2019re feeling frisky and risky. As it stands, and we all know this could change given how tumultuous things are at the moment, Evil West is due to release on November 22, 2022. It was originally meant to release in September but was put back in its coffin to rest for a little bit longer before showing its face in broad daylight. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s not how games are made. Basically, Focus Entertainment, the publishers of Evil West, tweeted that<\/a> they were thankful for the support, but it turns out that releasing a game on five platforms (Xbox One, Xbox Series S\/X, PS4, PS5, and PC) is actually very hard work, and to make sure it was as good as it could be, the game would be pushed back a couple of months. A two-month delay isn\u2019t a huge amount of time in the scheme of things, but hopefully, it means that the developers have had time to work out any kinks there may be, and also do so in a way that\u2019s free from crunch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evil West is a third-person action game that has you fighting across the western frontier of America, but a version of it that\u2019s full of monsters. It looks to be frenetic, stylish, and incredibly bloody, with players mixing guns and melee attacks in with more surreal abilities to allow for a strong feeling of flow throughout each combat encounter. We\u2019re expecting skills to be unlocked as you go, perks that\u2019ll help you make your character your own, and no doubt plenty of weapons to play around with too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all looks a bit like a character action game a la Devil May Cry, albeit without Dante\u2019s sexy white hair and general early 00\u2019s \u2018tude screaming back at you. What\u2019s really interesting about Evil West is that it\u2019ll also have co-op play too, which will allow you to take on the messed-up world of Evil West with a friend. We\u2019re not sure how the progress will work on that, but we\u2019ll let you know as soon as we do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
