This game is pretty much Minecraft+FPS. It's enjoyable and I think it's pretty good since you can spend many hours on playing it, building, killing and destroying, But, the most of the community plays the Deathmatch mode so the other modes are pretty empty. Another good thing is the workshop, anybody can add maps and play them, with friends, online, or alone! I would recommend this with 80/100 :)
This is a really fun game with elements of war games with Minecraft mixed in with it. The entire environment is destructible and rebuildable, which makes for some pretty insane battles and strategies. Even more fun playing with friends, so would recommend getting the 4pack if you know enough people interested in it.
Quick Overview: Well, This game is awesome. I like FPS games, I like minecraft, and I got this. You have many options and a bit of fantasy (like you can fly). Switching between guns or weapons is pretty important in FPS games (let's have M16 for all time- meh) so you can change rockets vs players or that destroys more blocks... Snipers are still a bit imbalanced but at least you can see a laser from their scope so you know where to shoot. Something really funny is you can in some clicks build your own fortress, slowing your enemy and flying away (if engineer) or leaving some mines there. There's also a map creator where you can build maps and upload to the steam workshop. The most played mode is Deathmatch but still, the others as well (not sayin' that Deathmatch isn't fun). And the original PROS and CONS: Let's start with the PROS, shall we?: +Enjoyable FPS, comfortable +Building function +Map editor + workshop +Not huge community, but has a lot of players +Classes, and guns to choose from +Statics (Kills, deaths, maps played etc.) +Achievements +Cards +Half voice acted And now- the cons: -Building big things at one time (those who are already made) make the game lag -Almost and only deathmatch is played -Snipers are imbalanced. In summary: this game is enjoyable and recommended, like the title says it has a place to improve but it's OK for now. My steam review as Well.
The game is good, and I liked playing the BETA . You can have fun for hours and hours , Build , Create strategies , Play with friends and etc. But not everything is wonderful, the game sickens and many of the players are trolls or griffers . Everything has changed since the official launch and then I just played to get the collectibles cards and play with a friend of mine , because I had lost the grace to me and the changes have left me happy. The availability of possibilities for constructions and kills is what makes the game coolest , build barriers , do a lot of things I have ever seen on servers and destroy blocks ( I recommend not destroying buildings, only if you're a brainless boring) . The graphics you already know , is the minecraft fever, blocks here and there. The most interesting are the maps, some are incredibly giants and has amazing landscapes. THe game is cheap (good part) The gamplay is interesting, since it includes several types of games. Yes I recommend this game , since you can have fun.
How can a game take an amazing premise (Team Fortress 2 and Minecraft) and screw up so badly? They make Ace of Spades, a game-breakingly buggy, half-baked multiplayer shooter that's terrible. Half of the time the game is unplayably buggy. When I can play it, the classes are samey, the gunplay is poor, and the servers are either empty or full of jerks. This game really had potential but they just gave up before it got near the level of polish or mechanics that it needs. I wouldn't recommend this when TF2 is infinitely better, and it's free.
