After having conquered hundreds of thousands of die hard survival enthusiasts and fans of dark post-apocalyptic fictions on consoles, I Am Alive, the ground breaking survival adventure game is finally coming to PC digital platforms.

I Am Alive casts the player as a lone survivor in a believable, dark and insecure post-apocalyptic world. One year after the Event, a worldwide cataclysmic event that wiped most of the human race, a man struggles for survival in a desolate city as he tries to reunite with his long lost wife and daughter.

Key Features:

Enhanced for the PC

  • Intimidation-based combats: Combat is deadly and ammo is scarce. Use deception to deal with groups of enemies while trying to keep your precious few bullets, but watch out for the toughest ones may call your bluff.

  • Extreme Survival: Every effort has its cost. Manage your stamina, your few precious resources and your supplies skilfully.

Had potential to be a better game.

Ubisoft was hungry for introducing adventure game in post apocalyptic environment sadly the outcome is far from ideal. The game suffers from a bad control that is not very intuitive, it's worth to mention here you will explore a lot and having fun controlling is crucial here. The story is also lacking so don't expect a masterpiece as you will not find a gem here.

I demand a sequel!!!!

This game is awesome! It kept me on edge all the way. A little frustrating at times, but I think it added to the difficulty and the realism. It's a great concept, It's the type of game that I have been wanting ever since I played my first survival game. It has all the elements of a great survival game, plus original mechanics, a different (in a good way) gameplay, great visuals, believable atmosphere, good realistic story. Hate that it was so short, it's the kind of game that could be played for days. I don't understand why ubisoft pulled the funding from this game, it could have been THE HIT! You can tell that it has been cut short at some point, and it is annoying but still came out a great title. The guys behind this game, I sincerely hope, pray, desperately beg you: Find funding somewhere else and continue this title! It's different, bold, entertaining, amazing!

Action rock climbing

I like post-apocalyptic games, but this title is just boring. At first, it seems like something fresh, and the puzzle-like nature of the battles seem fun, but it gets really repetitive pretty fast. How it works basically, is you have a gun, but you have very limited ammo. The enemy doesn't know that, so as long as you aim at them, they behave. Now, you have to aim directly at them to do this. One enemy will stay with their hands in the air until the end times. More than that and the ones you're not aiming at will come at you. Every encounter requires you to think, but they set up in such a way, that every battle only has one solution, and doing anything else will result in your death. basically, this is not action, this is killing people with puzzles. The other part of the game is climbing. Lots of it. It's actually well made as far is I can tell, except for how you can eat during climbing, to regain lost stamina. Not an expert in this, but it feels ridiculous. Anyway, if you like climbing among ruined skyscrapers, knock yourself out. The story is rather bland. The protagonist is looking for his family. He has tapes. I'm sure they are dead all along. Don't really know, because I never finished it. Got bored after I was lost for too long... Oh yeah...everything in this game is grey! and boy, it is hard to find your way around after a while! Overall, I Played better.

Stamina Simulator

This game was a lot worse than I thought it would be. The graphics are very drab and uninspired, making the game world unappealing and visually dead. As for the game, exploration and stamina management are key here. You will not do anywhere near as much shooting or fun segments as you would expect in a post apocalyptic game. You will spend at least 75% of your time climbing and traversing poles and balance beams. The game overall feels very unfinished and rough. The controls are not very responsive and lead to unfair deaths. The story is lacking. And the game itself is very short, taking only a couple hours to finish. I finished in around 3 or 4 hours and was never impressed with anything I did in this game and it didn't leave me with any wow moments. I wouldn't recommend this game, even on sale. It seemed like it had great potential, but it suffered from a lack of imagination, creativity, and budget. Nothing was very well executed in this game. It's just very bland and uninviting.

A mediocre experience

I Am Alive tries to be both Tomb Raider and The Last Of Us at the same time, but fails to capture the good parts of either of those games. The story is dull, making you check the menu frequently to see how much of the game you have left to play through (yes, there is a story completion meter built in). The graphics are what you would expect for a budget title, as in, slightly above what an ipad could play. The controls can be frustrating at times. As a game that is 60% climbing like this is, the controls should be precise. They are actually very vague feeling and the camera moves around alot and as it shifts, so do your control directions. The game never does anything original nor exciting and it starts to feel very repetitive after about 30% through the story. This game maybe good for a rainy weekend when you are bored of all your other games.
