You can describe Spirit of War as a poor man's version of Advance War but this title lacks the depth of the compared title. Still, it may be considered fun for a while. It's one of my guilty pleasures, to be honest. It's cheap and does not offer much depth but it offers some strange indescribable level of fun. Worth checking out if you're playing on a budget.
I really like the games set in World War I, so I loved Spirit of War, a turn based combat strategy game that makes you experience the history line of 1914-1918 era. Simple but not banal, the game is accurate in introducing War World I history in an understandable manner also for who doesn't know it very well. The gameplay is rather easy to understand and, going on, also to master. In short, Spirit of War has a good art style; simple and end amusing gameplay mechanics; lots of missions and contents. Maybe won't be the deeper strategy title you will play in your entire life, but I assure you it can entertain you for a long, pleasant period of real amusing, and if you want, fast games. Thumbs up!
