Trulon: The Shadow Engine is a mix of rpg with a strategy elements. Sadly while the story is interesting there are some flaws that make asked price a bit too much. First of all the play time is very short, and relatively linear, also the developers got lazy reskinning most of the enemies. All in all, worth to try for the plot when it'll be on a decent sale.
Trulon: The Shadow Engine is a JRPG with a card battle system that was ported to the PC from the iOS. The plot and characters of the game are uninteresting and while the map may cause you to think that there is a large world to explore there ends up being very few areas. The world is colorful and looks nice but the animations are poor and there is not much variety to them in combat. Due to the game being a port the controls are done with the mouse when you may have wanted to use the keyboard or a controller for certain things. The game has a surprising good soundtrack. The card battle system can be enjoyable but is held back by dull combat animations and battles that can become both too easy and needlessly lengthy. If you are interested in the game I would also wait for a price drop as $20 feels like too much at this time, especially for an iOS port.
