Reviews for Lords of Football - Super Training

The best expansion for LOF

This is the best DLC for the game, and adds some new gameplay elements to the base game. The sense of humour goes a step further here, with well designed training mechanisms for your players adding new exercises and making them better in the field. Other than that, there is nothing else to mention. I'd rather a DLC with new activities for the players, but it is good anyway. Try to get it on sale.

This is a decent attempt to make a "sims" type of manager game. As far as i know this is their original first manager game, which makes it an even better first attempt. As i mentioned it has a sims feeling about it. Players move around and have characters. I would say it is more about character management than actual football, although the tactics and team selection do play some role. There is very little in terms of control, financials and player trading/purchasing. Players do not even age. Besides all that, the game is playable, the actual match is watchable and overall the concept is very original as well, making it a must buy for manager fanatics. It does get repetitive over time though, so get ready for that.
