Four years have passed since the Shaper's defeat through the use of Archfire. During that time scientists, dragons and inventors have tried to find a way to counter the mysterious deterioration of the portals - in vain.
The portal network has now totally collapsed and the islands are cut off from one another. The dragons and the Shaikan act as the only connection between the races, but even their resources are limited.
Now, with the nations isolated from one another, a new nameless enemy strikes. Eo is completely at the mercy of the attackers ascending from demonic depths.
In the midst of this chaos a new hero appears. A simple Shaikan and a member of the hand, he searches desperately for answers to his deeply disturbing dreams. This search leads him to the ancestral home of his people, the Iron Fields, to the mountain of the Patriarch Ur. The elders can only tell him that his dreams are connected to his destiny, but nothing more.
Upon arrival all he finds are more questions: Who are these demonic creatures the locals are calling the Nameless? What do the dragons know about the destiny of this world?
And what has Professor Twiddles plan to restore the portals to do with all this?
To discover his destiny, our hero must acquire new skills and do battle with enemies new and old. But wherever he goes - the Nameless always seem to be a step ahead, and futile battles break out in which the hero holds the destiny of all of Eo in his hands.

I really did, as I actually liked the first game when it came out. The problem is that for a relatively newer game, this should be a lot cleaner looking. Was this made in DOS or something? I'm not one of those guys who is obsessed with graphics, but these need a tremendous upgrade. The game will last you a few hours at most and you'll get a cool blend of RTS and RPG, which is nice, but other than that, it offers very little. Enemy variety isn't big and well, this would be cool if it weren't coming out back in 2012. Big turnoff now and needs some improvement for the series to continue on.
My first thought of the game was, that the tutorial was made for 6 year old kids. It is very slow and you have to wait for it to be able to make your moves. While on the other hand that also means the game is very easy to learn. Enemy spawning is stupid and they tend to go to extacly the same spot every time, not to mention the buildings and units are plain, there is no variety and its more about how fast can you click. There is a good choice of weapons/armor/skills etc. I didn't see the point in being a magical archer or so to speak, being able to wield a bow, while also executing magical attacks and summons. The biggest minus i see in this game is its graphics. Even maxed out cannot even compare to anything from last year, let alone this year. There is no V-sync switch (on/off) so you'll get constant tearing unless you know how to force it on your graphic card. Oh well i tried it, spent a few hours on it and gave up on it. Its not a game that i want to play, it has way to many competitors that beat it 10-0, and these games are from 2009 or 2010.
I've tried to find something positive to say about this game and sadly there isn't much; the menu looks nice and the graphic looks quite good despite being outdated. I don't know who has written the plot but it fills like excuse to add single player option to the game which should have been cut out. I managed to complete single player in a little over 2h and I can't imagine anyone spending more than 5 to complete it. With tutorial entire game consists of 4 maps which feel like fan made material made with map editor. Another issue is long and numerous cutscenes which were plain boring. I managed to find only 3 new spells and only one is somewhat useful. Only challenge was to defeat a few clearly overpowered enemies. What I felt playing this game was: too little too late. Developers had 5 years since the last release and made a poor job of matching past titles' story and entertainment factor. If you are looking for single player experience it's better to stay a way from this title, as for multiplayer it can be a saving grace of this title if you are a fan of the Spellforce series. In my opinion this game should never be released as it feels like last attempt to squeeze some money out of dying series before developers decide to move on. It is especially sad considering the previous titles were great games.
