As word of the ancient Bloodweaver facility travels to the stars in hushed whispers and shadowy conversations, Enoch The Shepherd, a holy warrior, must investigate.
As one of a small, unique, but growing group of Zuul, determined to leave their savage birthright and terrible reputation behind, Enoch isn't descending into The Pit out of curiosity, but out of obligation.
Whatever evil is still down there, it is on him to witness it, record it...
...and then purify it with fire.

Sword of the Stars: The Pit is one of the most popular sci-fi roguelike games, or roguelites to be more precise, as it doesn't stay completely true to all the concepts of the roguelike genre. The game itself is pretty tough and very replayable due to its random nature and randomly generated playthroughs, but if you want to expand it even more, there are a few DLCs available for the game. The Pilgrim is one of them and I must admit it changes the way the game plays pretty much - not so much thanks to the new enemies, recipes, weapons, or items, but thanks to the new character. Enoch is a zuul with an ability allowing him to dominate encountered zuul creatures and make them his allies. This special ability makes him play completely different, and additionally he also has his specific stat line and traits (for example he needs much food but is very resilent to disease). The DLC is very cheap for how much replayability it adds to the game. Highly recommended if you like Sword of the Stars: The Pit.
