Crowning Bethesda achievement

This game is incredible and it wipes the floor with Oblivion and Morrowind. Graphics are beautiful, world is huge and incredibly exciting to explore, gameplay is simple yet fluid and full with options, it has best soundtrack to date. While the writing could've been better, some of the side-quests are incredibly well written and fun, better than pretty shallow and predictable main plot. The only thing that could've been better and improved are the dungeons, which are extremely repetitive and simple. Other than that, to this very day, this game is incredible and addicting. Strongly recommended.

Great game

Bethesda always seem to know what they are doing when it comes to RPGs and this one does not disappoint. Skyrim is a beautifully crafted game with a great, gripping story and great characters as well. The graphics still stand up today and so to does the game play. Skyrim is a must play!

Took an arrow to the knee, still playing Skyrim

There is no such thing as a perfect game and there is no such thing as a game with an infinite amount of things to do, but damn if Skyrim isn't the closest to those standards of all video games released so far (there a few games that may surpass it in one category, but not both). Rather than reading about the incredible amount of things you can do in this RPG from the other reviews on this site, you should go play it RIGHT NOW. As others have said, not buying it at this low price would be a sin. Don't kill the chcikens!

500 Hours and Still Counting

I saw this game when it first came out and was shocked by the size of it but you truly have no idea the sheer amount of content there is in the game. I was so distracted by side quests I did not finish the main story line up until around 400 hours. The freedom to be whatever you want is something that I love from an RPG, want to be a stealthy cat who shoots lightning from your paws (*hands*)? Or an orc with brute force who plays the lute? If you compare this to the cost of a movie ($10 at my local cinema) and the average length of 2 hours a movie and do a little math, the amount of time spent so far is the equivalent of 250 movies or $2500. The price of this game is a steal for the amount of time you can invest and still find new quests and tasks to do. And if some how (and I highly doubt it) you run out of stuff or get bored with the game, the modding community provides endless content on top, from graphical updates to new story lines to games within a game. What is not to love? There is plenty of bugs in the game but the console commands and community fixes will have you sorted in an instant. One of the advantages of PC gaming.

Truly the best RPG

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has a lot of quests, very big map. I don't know where to start with the review, the possibilities are probably endless, I've played 50 hours now and I still learn stuff you can do around the game, the biggest RPG game ever! Inns, cities, villages, A LOT of quests, factions, groups, powers, enchanting, learning, smiting, crafting, dragons, books, secrets, skills...it just keeps going! All the quests are different and long, when you are walking around the map thieves might find you and try to rob you, if you steal from places people might act like they didn't notice, but send a group of people to kill you the next day, etc.
