All about time

Skyrim isn't a game about content, it's a game about time. Your time. It's a question of whether or not you wish to use your time to explore what seems to be an unlimited amount of content. Although considerably smaller than it's predecessors, Bethesda packs more into this smaller world than I have been able to find in any other Elder Scroll game previously. This is a game that was not only worth my time, but one that I think is worth your time.

One of the best RPGs so far!

This game is just addicting, once you create your alter-ego you'll live your adventure in a land where dragons are returning. Personally I loved the sneaky way in this game (with tons of crits) but honestly: archery, 2h swords, maces, spellcasting.. everything is just addicting and in the perfect The Elder Scrolls style. A masterpiece for every rpg out there with its story with TONS of sidequests, the crafting, the soundtracks and an huge community with tons of mods. You'll never regret to have this game in your library, this is a gem, a real one.

Beautiful, but not perfect

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an open world RPG released in 2011. This game is very popular and received universal acclaim among critics. I finally bought it not so long ago, as it would be a crime as a gamer to pass by such an important title. Pros: Fantastic Graphics (given when it came out) Awesome open world Deep and complex lore Cons: Mediocre at best combat Not too fun without mods In conclusion, although I found this game to be a very good one, I feel as if it is a bit overrated. The combat is pretty terrible, which makes a big impact in this kind of game. However, I still recommend this to the majority of gamers, as it's an experience that you shouldn't ignore. If you have already played Skyrim and are looking for another game, I would highly recommend you check out the Dark Souls series. 8/10

A return to form for The Elder Scrolls

Skyrim is a great game. It's far better than Oblivion in virtually every way, although it had features stripped and streamline far too much. It's still not as good as Morrowind, but the world of Skyrim is addicting and the story is much better than its predecessors, although still not perfect. Dragon combat is fun and exciting, but it can become repetitive and tedious after a while. The graphics aren't anything special, but mods can fix any flaws in terms of visual fidelity. Most of the faction storylines are very well done, but the Dark Brotherhood and especially Thieves Guild are the best. I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves RPGs, open world games, or sandboxes. This has everything and in my opinion the true successor Morrowind deserved.

a fantastic adventure!

Skyrim is a fun adventure rpg. There is a mind boggling amount to explore and experience and it never grows old. I loved this game. It is beautiful graphically and the quests and tasks are interesting. The game has the usual Bethesda bugs and physics glitches throughout it, but nothing is game breaking nor frustrating, more just oddball moments. Overall this game is great even for people like me who don't like movies such as the lord of the rings or the hobbit.
